Why we do these tests

Most reviews of non-GamStop sites are assembled from the operator's own marketing. Someone reads the promotions page, rewrites it, adds a score and publishes. You can usually spot it: the review knows the bonus percentage but has nothing to say about what happens three days after you ask for your money back.

The parts that actually determine whether a site is worth using are the parts you only find out by using it — whether the sign-up form rejects UK addresses halfway through, whether verification is demanded at registration or ambushes you at withdrawal, whether support answers a real question or returns a macro. That is what our walkthroughs are for: open an account, put our own money in, play, contact support with a genuine query, and take the money out again, then write down what happened. Switching Between Sportsbook and Casino

This section is specific to BetPortal's portal structure. On our Musbet review it is replaced by a mobile-experience section, because that is Musbet's structural point of difference.

This is the section that matters most for BetPortal specifically, because the whole proposition is that sport and casino live behind one login. A "portal" that is really two products stitched together — separate balances, separate logins, an internal transfer to move money between them — is a different and worse thing than what is advertised.

Whatever our walkthrough finds when it runs, these points stand: BetPortal is offshore-licensed, outside GamStop, and outside UK Gambling Commission protection. Any single walkthrough is a snapshot rather than a guarantee — an operator that pays promptly one month may behave differently later, which is why entries in this series are dated and revisited.
